Vegan Beauty Empties

What tells us that the cosmetic is good? For sure that we are buying another package!

Today we will tell you about the cosmetics we have recently used.

If you want to know which of them we will buy again and which disappoint us, we invite you to read the post.

Vegan Beauty Empties

Dorota: It's a mascara with a silicone brush. Mascara wasn't bad, it lengthened eyelashes nicely. However, after opening it had a very wet consistency. It looked best in combination with thickening mascara.

8ml / 3.99€

Dorota: These are my favorite make-up removal wipes. When they ends, I always buy another package.
They are very delicate and cleans the makeup well, they smell very nice and have a good price.

25pcs. / 1.99€

Dorota: I liked the cream very much, it moisturized the skin under the eyes very well. It has a thick consistency, but it absorbs quickly and works well with make-up.

Patryk: The cream absorbs quite quickly and moisturizes well.

17ml / 5€

Dorota: A lot of micellar water irritate my eyes, fortunately it is very delicate and thoroughly removes make-up. After use, it doesn't leave a sticky layer on the skin and doesn't dry it.

200ml / 10€

Dorota: This is a point gel for pimples. When it dries on the skin it has a peel-off effect. It seems to me that the gel reduced the redness around the pimples and after using it there was a slight change, but it was not a great effect. The peel-off mask from Himalaya is better for me.

Patryk: In my case it also didn't work. It was tiny bit better but the effect was quite average.

15ml / 4.99€

Patryk: Spray from Isana is really a hairspray. I use it every day for hair styling. It is nice to reflect the hair from the root and fixes the hairstyle.

300ml / 1.49€

Dorota: Now this shampoo has a new pack with a teddy bear. Normal babydream shampoo always tangled my hair, and this version doesn't do it. I think I will buy this shampoo again, although recently I like to wash my hair with new soap from Isana kids 2 in 1.

Patryk: The shampoo has a very delicate ingredients, cleanses the hair well and making it stay fresh longer.

250ml / 1.39€

Patryk: I did not like this hair spray. The Isana style 2 create spray strengthens the hairstyle.

250ml / 0.89€

Dorota: This is my favorite dry shampoo. It refreshes hair well, smells good and doesn't leaves white residue on the hair.

200ml / 3.99€

Dorota: This is one of my favorite hair conditioners. It moisturizes the hair, it is smooth and shiny after use. In addition, it smells beautiful! Its packaging is very handy, especially if we use it in the shower.

355ml / 4.99€
Vegan Beauty Empties

Dorota: Mmm, how these shower gels smell beautifully! I really like this company and often buy its products. It's nice that the packages in which they sell gels are not made of harmful plastic and are recyclable.

250ml / 1.45€

Patryk: The antiperspirant works as it should and has a very strong fragrance typical of men's cosmetics. You will also find it in this post.

50ml / 2.40€

Dorota: It's a good peeling with a fresh pear flavor and good effect. You will also find it in this post.

100ml / 1.60€

Dorota: This is my favorite shower gel / cream! I bought it already 4 times it's probably means something ;)

You can find it in this post.

250ml / 1.79€

Do you always use the same cosmetics or do you test new products?

IsaDora Nude Cushion Foundation Review

Today I come to you with a review of the IsaDora Nude Cushion foundation.
This is one of my favorite foundations. I think it will make the perfect base for the summer!
The foundation looks very natural, blends nicely with the skin and is very light.

IsaDora Nude Cushion Foundation Review

My opinion:

The foundation looks very elegant, in the middle of the packaging there is a mirror and a sponge.
The mirror is of good quality and you can easily improve your makeup.
The included applicator is not of poor quality, but I prefer to use a beauty blender every day.
The fragrance of the cosmetic is delicate, and after applying it to the face it does not feel at all.
The foundation looks very natural and blends nicely with the complexion. It has a low coverage that can be slightly built.
My complexion is normal with a tendency to dry out, but the foundation did not dry or clog up.
The foundation is maintained until the end of the day. I think it will take a long time on dry skin, but with a greasy complexion it may not work so well.
The only drawback of this foundation is the range of shades.
Unfortunately, we have only 9 shades to choose from. We will not find a very light shade or dark ones.
It's hard to find the brightest color, so I bought a shade of 10 nude porcelain.
I would not call this porcelain color, it rather suits me when I get opals.
IsaDora Nude Cushion Foundation 10 Porcelain Swatch

IsaDora Nude Cushion Foundation is a foundation for people who like a natural look.
I really liked the option of padding the foundation instead of buying a new one and I think I will use it when the need arises.

xo xo,

And what is your favorite foundation?

How to dye your hair rose gold - La Riche Directions Pink Flamingo / vegan cruelty-free

19 June

Rose Gold Hair - La Riche Directions Pink Flamingo

I really like dyeing my hair in different colors, but most of the time I'm going back to rose gold. This color is quite delicate and natural. Pink reflex is very cool for blonde hair.
Today I will show you how I got a rose gold shade on my hair.

La Riche Directions Pink Flamingo

To dye my hair I used a semi-permament La Riche Directions toner in Pink Flamingo which is cruelty free and vegan. This toner is a strong fuchsia color, but don’t be scared, I will dilute it with a conditioner to get a lighter shade of pink.
The toner should be applied to damp hair previously washed with shampoo. And most importantly make the day before an allergy test.

La Riche Directions Pink Flamingo

If you have dark hair the color won’t be visible. You'll get the best results on bleached hair, but on natural blondes the effect will also be good.
On my medium blonde I used 2 teaspoons of toner and a large portion of alterra mask. (It is good to use a conditioner / mask without silicones to dilute the toner). And to dye the lighter parts of my hair I used the same mixture, but I added more mask to it.
If you have lighter hair, you can first mix the conditioner with 1 teaspoon of toner on one streak and see if you like this color or if you want a stronger one and then add more toner.

Rose Gold Hair - La Riche Directions Pink Flamingo

I kept the toner on my hair for 30min, if you want the effect to last longer you can put on a dyed hair cap and towel.
On my hair the toner lasts for about 2 weeks. But how quickly it will wash away depends on whether you have healthy hair (on the damaged can stay longer) and how often you wash them and what shampoo do you use. If you use delicate shampoos, the effect should last longer.

The price for toner is 4.5£ for 88ml.

Have you ever had an "unusual" color on your hair?

Does the fitness band really help in a healthy lifestyle? Jawbone Move Up Review

14 June

Jawbone Move Up Review

Fitness bands are very popular, but are we needed them to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

   In my opinion, yes!

Since last year I have a Jawbone move up and I am very happy with it.
I always thought that I eat healthy and I have enough active lifestyle. I didn't think about buying a fitness band. But in last year I had a lot of sleep problems. I was still tired and distracted by it. I tried different ways to deal with it, but nothing had any major effect. I read a lot of positive reviews about fitness bands and I decided to buy a band with sleep monitor.

It took me a lot of time to choose a fitness band, I was discouraged by their frequent loading. Finally, I found Jawbone Move Up - a battery-powered band. The manufacturer ensures that one battery should last for 3 to 6 months. My band disappeared after 3 months of daily use.

Jawbone Move Up doesn’t have a traditional display, the number of steps, or an hour show us red diodes, and the blue ones shows the time of sleep.
The fitness band includes sleep monitoring, counting steps, calories burned during exercise, and a smart trainer who gives us advice and evaluates meals when we connect our band with app myfitnesspal.
Jawbone Move Up Review

Jawbone Move Up has several color options to choose from, and I think everyone will find something for them.
The band can be worn on your wirst or pinned to your clothes. However, I recommend to wear it on the wirst, because it counts steps more precisely.
We have a choice of two strip thicknesses, I chose the thinner one. If we need a new belt we can buy it separately for $ 15.
At first the strap was quite tight, for months of use slightly stretched, but never fell off my hand.

Thanks to Jawbone Move Up I learned that my lifestyle is not so healthy.
I don't eat sweets or unhealthy food however it turned out that all my meals were rated very low. Thanks to the band I eat a lot less sugar, and after three months my meals are rated at 8.5 / 10.
I also learned that walking with a dog every day I walk about 10,000 steps.
Sleep monitoring is also good. I've noticed how many hours I have to sleep in order to sleep.
The only downside is that Jawbone Move Up is not waterproof.
However, it makes up for its price.
I think this fitness band is a cool gadget for people who want to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Thanks to Jawbone Move Up we can learn a lot about ourselves and make the right habits.
By a healthy diet and a good amount of sleep we can feel as new born.

And you have a fitness band? Maybe you are planning to buy?

 xo xo,

Vegan Wet'n'Wild MegaLast lipstick - Review and wearing test

11 June

Vegan Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Review

Wet'n'Wild is one of my favorite companies.
Their makeup products are very good quality, they have a lot of vegan options and often cool new products.

Today I will show you my 3 favorite Wet'n Wild lipsticks from the MegaLast collection:

Bare It All - peach nude shade
Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Bare it All

Mocha-licious – 90’s Brown shade

Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Mocha-Licious

Cinnamon Spice - dark cherry shade with a hint of raspberry

Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Cinnamon Spice

At the end of the post you will find a lipstick wearing test in shade Cinnamon Spice.

Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Cinnamon Spice, Mocha-Licious, Bare it All

This is basically our Magnum Opus of lipstick—it’s the one thing we absolutely MUST put on when we’ve got a cocktail party or black tie event. This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte cream finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn’t cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A & E help smooth lips.

+ Plastic, transparent cap, through which we see the color of lipstick
+ Lipsticks don't open when we worn them in a purse
+ At the bottom of the lipstick there are stickers with color and lipstick name
- lipstick stick out of the pack, always dirty plug
- not very resistant to falls

Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Bare it All, Mocha-Licious, Cinnamon Spice swatches

  My opinion:

Wet'n'Wild lipsticks have a very large color range - 26 shades.
You will definitely fall in love with more than one shade.
MegaLast lipsticks are very well pigmented, have a creamy consistency and are easy to apply.
According to the manufacturer's description, the lipstick can withstand 4 hours on lips, only come down when eating a meal.
To prolong their durability, the manufacturer recommends powdering the lips before applying the product, applying the lip liner, and finally the lipstick.
By following these tips lipstick actually stay on the lips.
Lipsticks are not 100% matt, but they don't dry the lips.

If you have dry lips it is essential to do peeling before applying lipstick because they underline all dry skin.
You can use lipbalm before applying lipstick, then your lips will be moisturized all day.

Price: 2,5$ on the Wet’n’Wild website

Wet'n'Wild MegaLast Lipstick Mocha-Licious Wearing Test

Wearing test:

The first 3 photos are made in daylight and the last one is made with lamp.
I applied a lipstick without a lipliner and didn't improve lipstick during the day.

The first 4 hours lipstick looked very good. It didn’t dry my lips and didn't require any correction.
When I ate dinner lipstick almost inch down, it should be applied again
At evnning, lipstick dried my lips and went into dry skin.
My lips tend to dry up, and I think that's why lipstick didn’t look so good after that time.

In conclusion:

The manufacturer is right and lipstick looks very good for 4 hours. However, it will not survive a big meal and after it will require corrections. In my opinion, it is worth the price to try it out. They have beautiful, saturated colors and among them there are many similar shades to Mac's lipstick, which aren't vegan and cruelty free.

What is your favourite Wet'n'Wild product?

 xo xo,
